Werkervaring en opleiding
De studie Geneeskunde heb ik gevolgd aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam. De opleiding tot plastisch-, reconstructief- en handchirurg (Zuider Ziekenhuis en Erasmus Medisch Centrum) heb ik afgerond in 2001. Sindsdien maak ik deel uit van de maatschap Plastische chirurgie van het Albert Schweitzer ziekenhuis.
Ik heb me verder gespecialiseerd in de hand- en polschirurgie, de cosmetische chirurgie en de onculoplastische chirurgie. (Dit is plastische chirurgie na verwijdering van een tumor, bijvoorbeeld in het gezicht.)
In 2012 rondde ik het Europees Handexamen af en is sindsdien ben ik Europees gecertificeerd hand- en polschirurg
In 2015 rondde ik vervolgens het Amerikaans Handexamen af.
